Wild Buckwheat is an annual vine that can reach 3.5’ in length. Its leaves are triangular to heart-shaped with pointed tips and a membranous sheath surrounds the stem at the base of the petiole. It forms inconspicuous green flowers at the base of the leaves, blooming May through September.
