Virginia Creeper is a woody, perennial vine native to eastern and central North America. It is a prolific climber that can reach heights of 90’. It has large leaves made of five leaflets. These leaflets have toothed margins. It has deep red fall color and is sometimes grown as an ornamental plant. It will not harm the masonry that it is found on, as it adheres to surfaces using disks rather than roots.
