Mousear Chickweed is a perennial species of plant that is commonly found in shady lawns and in moist areas. The plant is usually 6-12 inches in height with long stems that have many small opposite set leaves that are oblong in shape and roughly a half inch long. The flowers of the plant are extremely small with 5 white petals at the tip of each of the branches of that plant. The plant mainly blooms from April to June. The plant can grow in the upright position or as a mat similar to Ivy, and has a very shallow root system that doesn’t go very deep in the soil.
