A perennial herb. It likes to grow in sunny areas, lawn, meadows, pastures and crops. It grows from a tap root into lobed, 8” leaves that grow in a rosette formation. Forked stems grow up to 24” and support flat, bright yellow flowers. Usually they flower between June and September. It does have some culinary uses.
