The Cudweeds are made up of many different species that are similar in growth habits. Cudweeds have rosettes and the leaves and seedheads are covered in fine, wooly fibers. Cudweeds overwinter as small basal rosettes but in the spring usually grow an upright stem. Leaves are oval or egg shaped, usually from ½ to 2 inches in width.
