Crowfootgrass is an annual weed in turf that roots at the nodes. It is characterized by a seedhead of 5 or more spikelets that radiate outwards, resembling a crow’s foot. Tips of the spikelets resemble claws. A row of hairs extends outward from the margin on the lower portion of the leaf blade.
