Redroot pig weed is an annual weed that can grow to or above 9ft tall. It has large long leaves on the top and and diamond and oval shaped leaves towards the bottom of the plant. It will form a tumbleweed over time. The weed is monotonous containing both male and female flowers.

Redroot Pigweed can be harmful to animals like cow and pigs. The weed may cause nephrotoxicity which will hurt the kidneys.

Use a herbicide to stunt and kill established Redroot Pigweed and then maintain by using a weed preventer fertilizer.
