Bacterial Spot

Bacterial spot and speck are identical or the same thing. They both are small, water soaked, greasy looking spots about 1/8 inch in size usually first seen on plants leaves. After a few about 3-7 days, these spots are often surrounded by yellow halos and the centers dry out and frequently tear out. The spots may combine to form large, irregular dead spots. In mature plants, leaf infection is mainly on older leaves and some defoliation may occur.
